This is an up-to-date reference for my medical library. I am a doctor and a thyroid patient. There are a lot of out-of-date docs out there, even among specialists.

This is an updated version of a copy I had purchased a couple of years ago.  I lost several of Dr. Brownstein's books when I recently moved.  I really love his books and use them as reference manuals.  Many of my friends have borrowed them as well.  If I can't find the rest, I'll probably be purchasing new ones soon.

I a still viewing and reading. All good and well, but who will treat me according to these ideas? Who will answer questions I have?
I feel I have hope, but discouraged that my problem will never be resolved. I am so unhopeful about my future for health.

I have read most of the book and I have to say it was informative.  Learned some things I did not know.  I was diagnosed with a goiter a few years back and was on synthroid for a few years, was not happy because a lot of my symptoms were still there, changed to armour thyroid and within a few weeks many symptoms are gone.  Great book!!!

This book really made me see medical ailments in a different light.  I wish there were more doctors like Dr. Brownstein, especially in rural areas.

I found this book helpful and informative.  It was an additional resource to the information provided by my endocrinologist.  Also, the idea of more in-depth hormone testing makes good sense to me.  I'm planning to request additional tests in a few months.  Many thanks Dr. Brownstein for providing these tools!
