Makes an awful lot of sense and I'm surprised to see that certain seemingly unrelated complaints I have (from serious mastalgia to cold feet, tiredness, bloating, water retention, PMS) all seem to add up under the hypothyroid theory. Interesting ATP was mentioned, because that's quite a technical thing, and I was specifically treated for mitochondrial damage and ATP problems - so quite a coincidence.
So it's great knowing all this - now it remains to find a practitioner - probably easy in the US, not so in England. Wish there were some international referrals, the book gives only US contacts.
Otherwise, I found the style very good, easy to understand but still scientifically thorough, and cogent throughout. It was slightly repetitive, as each section seemed designed to stand on its own as an article.
